Chloe Clair

Chloé Clair, a trained civil engineer and architect, recently joined VINCI Construction as their Chief Technical Officer (a new role in the company), with the strong will to integrate innovation and digital transformation into design and construction. Her goal is to enhance efficiency and safety on all projects thanks to real-time information on site, auto-check and quality control with 3D scan, AR or VR, smart use of artificial intelligence for program and problem-solving on site.. She is a strong advocate of digital acceleration inside her company and launched a global program of digital ambassadors to deploy innovation and tech to all business units within the Group.

She has always worked in the construction industry, starting as a structural engineer or environmental engineer, moving to project design coordination and later as technical director. She has worked mostly aboard, for American or French companies, in Poland, the U.S.  Cyprus, Trinidad and Tobago and Bangkok and headed the design for many projects around the world such as airports, six star hotels or super-tall buildings.

Chloe attained an Engineer diploma from Ecole Polytechnique (a leading French institution combining top-level research, academics, and innovation), a Masters degree in Environmental and Structural Engineering from UC Berkeley California, a Masters degree from École National des Ponts et Chaussées (a top-French construction institution) and a degree in architecture (Architecte DPLG.)

Née en 1977, Chloé Clair est Architecte DPLG (Ecole d’architecture de la Villette) et ingénieur civil, dîplomée en France et aux Etats Unis (Polytechnique, Ponts et Chaussées et University of California, Berkeley).

Elle a fait l’essentiel de sa carrière à l’international, chez Skidmore, Owings & Lerrill, LLP, en tant qu’ingénieur structure (2001-2002), puis au sein d’Egis Group comme ingénieur environnement et Responsable développement (2003-2006).

Elle a ensuite rejoint Bouygues Bâtiment International où elle exerça successivement les fonctions de design manager (2006-2007), Responsable Commerciale (2007-2008), directrice construction durable (2009-2011), puis directrice technique, de Bouygues Thai puis de la zone Asie-Pacifique (à partir de 2012).

Elle a rejoint VINCI Construction en tant que directrice de l’ingénierie en janvier 2017.
